OKAY WITH MORE STEREOTYPES. yes that is true that a lot of mares are difficult to handle or whatever but you cant judge EVERY horse by that.. my first pony was a mare.. COMPLETE PHYSCO.. then my next pony.. also a mare was a complete angel and was saner then most gelding i know.

ya.. steryotypes are rediculous some horses are crazy, doesn't matter what gender/breed/colour... i think it depends on how the horse is handled. my horse can be crazy for some people, but she's not so much with me, because i know how to read her.. but ya.. some horses are crazy, others aren't..

well i think the only reason any horse is crazy is because it never had the proper training...

Haha I'm so color conscious, sorry to all the palo-owners, but I swear to god the ones I've been around are incredibly idiotic.

yea many ppl have certain colors they believe are harder to train or more moody etc...personally i think it's all just coincedence for the person. My trainer says chestnut mares are the worst, my bff says black mares, another person i know says blue eye horses,etc....so all that color bias is personal opinion and experience that varies from person to person i AM more of a gelding perosn though...but Breeze pretty much IS a gelding cause shes never moody...lol....but Beau n Hilton got me stuck on the boys ;D

hannah you said it yourself.. your mare is the biggest gelding ever.. thats why i hate all these stereotypes because there are SOO many exceptions.. yes. there are true stereotypes.. like some mares get very "marish" and some thoroughbreds are very hyper and "hot-headed".. my point is that not all stereotypes are true.. and especcialyy this color bullshit.. im sorry but color has NOTHING to do with temperment and training. my thoroughbred has the sanest mind ive ever seen in a thoroughbred... but he is still a thoroughbred.. and im sorry gabby with your hole palo thing... ive known a few palominos who were idiotic.. and others that were fabulous and the quietest horses ive ever seen.. color stereotypes are bullshit and it is ridiculous to say that a horse has problems because of its color.. actuaallyyy it is probablly you or the trainer or whoever is riding that horse that isnt training properly, or thats just how the horse is. All horses arent going to have the same temperment.. its all genetics.. how ridiculous does this sound.. because this is the same idea.. if a horse BUCKS a lot because it has a star.. come on guys.

Oh I know they're bullshit, just every palo I have been around (coincidence, and I know it) has been an idiot.
