Brat in his younger years!

Okay, so it was only 4 years ago, which would've made him.... 28.... but he looks pretty awesome! I found some pictures as I was looking through a bunch of baby pics, and thought I'd scan 'em.

NOTE: This was our first non-schooling show, and our first saddleseat show. I realize I'm wearing half saddleseat and half huntseat... that was a miscommunication between my trainer and me. She told me to wear my jodphurs and to buy a vest; she said I didn't have to worry about a coat. Sooo, I wore my jodphurs. She had thought I had saddleseat jods, which I didn't, and I thought she meant my breeches were ok. Oops. haha. Oh, and I know I suck at riding; part of that was me still adjusting to saddleseat, and the other part was Brat being a Brat. He bucked a lot in that class, haha.

Basically, I've improved a lot since then, and yeah. I just thought I'd show pics of him; he looks awesome in some of these.

I rode him from 2001 until early 2005. I showed him from 2002-2004. I've snuck on him 2-3 times in the past few months, but I haven't really ridden him since 2005.

Oops, I did my math wrong. He was 27 in those pictures, because he's 31 now

He's sooo gorgeous. I love his colouring, but i've always liked Brat, never really ever posted on any threads about him though so nows my chance!

He looks awsome, i can't believe he is that age, he looks good.

Me too Lauren! I knew my dad took pictures, but I had forgotten how awesome he looked. It's one of my favorites too. He looks so good I wish I could say the same about me in that pic, haha.
