so i went for a ride on midnight today b/c it was super nice out, and i realized today that i have no fear of her or anything.. what-so-ever. i feel like i can do anything on her, and i won't fall off or get hurt..
so i was bareback, me and a friend, and we went down a trail, and we started to canter, and i hanv't cantered/galloped like that in a long time on midnight, and it was fun. and then we walked for a bit, and came to a field, and midnight was doing a REALLY pretty canter (when i wanted her to walk ) but like.. i just sat on her.. like.. there was no way i was gonna fall off.. and then she like.. TOOK off on me (little bugger ) and i just grabbed one rein and made her go in a circle, and she was full out gallop. most people would fall off at that point.. but i just like.. sat there with no fear of falling off, becuase i know my horse SO well...
and now.. i'm not meaning to brag or anything, but i just realized that i know my horse so well, that i know what shes gonna do and i don't have to worry about anything while on her back.. its such a cool feeling to know that.. so ya.. i love my horse theres nothing that will stop me from loving her haha.

Thats great Candace It seems like you do know Midnight really well. I need to work on my bareback riding badly but id love to be good at it. because i love it.

i know what you mean i love riding bareback i feel the horse better...i can tell when lacey gets tnse or she is pissed and i know before it happens. bareback =love <33

i am that way with joker. i know ever little trick and like thats why i hate other people riding him besides me and my trainer. Even when mel rides him she gets aggervated because i'm like do this and do that because i know him lol and thats how i am with pride my baby girl even though she isnt really riding yet but i have tricks when im lunging her.

ya. and i always feel like i ride midnight best, no matter who's riding her.. just because i know her SO well, and its awesome.
like.. i know everything she'll try to pull, and even if she pulls it/gets away with it, i can stop her while shes doing it and punish her correctly i'm always nervous when other people ride her, because i'm scared shes gonna pull something on them and freak them out

Lol yea when my mom rides or friends that don't really know how to i just learned to put them on jasmine ( my arabian mare) and tell them pull back is stop and left is left right is right kick go faster haha and then i don't watch

ya. theres a nice arab that i can ride at a barn near my .. "barn".. (its a field with an open barn haha) and my friends usually ride her.. shes more reliable for inexperienced people haha
but ya...
the other day i got on midnight bareback, and i just went out in the field cuz its big, and i just galloped around on her for a little bit. it was SO much fun. we havn't done that for AGES and like.. i havn't had so much fun horsebackriding in ages.. it was a blast. i love my horse for making me feel good
then on wednesday i just went to the barn for about 3 hours and brushed midnight and aries REALLY well.. they were shiney ;D hahaha. and i fed all the horses there (about 14) but ya. i didn't want to ride, but i wanted to go see them cuz i hate not seeing them, and i enjoyed myself SO much.

being around horses and riding horses really is great/a great feeling.
I miss riding so much its crazy! I would have tried to get out today to the trail barn but its windy and rainy out today.

I used to ride a horse like that I felt like I could do anything on him and not be scared. I love that horse, but now that I'm moving I'll never get to see him again I'm going to miss him SOOOO much, I wish I could buy him.
