my first show

I had my first horse show today it was in West Salom. My trainer took me and this other girl and we rode her two lesson horses in it. Katie was there so it was really nice to see her and i loved being bale to see her. I dont get to see her too often because i cant drive. It is the only way i can keep her and someday move her somewhere else. As for my classes i did an equtiation type class with the other riders and i got 6 out of 7. I really dont care about the placinngs. i was just happy i got out there and did it for my first time. I was super nervous but after a while it was not bad. Im excited to do it again i get to do a maden dressage test at the next show since im just starting dressage. Maden is for first year of showing right? It was an expirience for me so it was cool and im proud of myself ;D

i'm glad you're so proud of yourself!
many people get down in the dumps becuase they get a low ribbon place, but its not neccessarly about the ribbons. its about having fun and learning, which you have just demonstrated
good job at your first show for learning things, and actually doing the classes.

Thanks Camdace! my trainer was very proud as well she is super nice and just outstanding trainer. Unfortunatly i did not get any pictures. my mom or i dont own a camera for a computer. One lady who boards at the barn i take lessons at might have gotten some. she is a professional photographer and she brought her camera and was taking professional type pictures of other people riding from that barn. So she might have got some. if she did i will have her email it or something. i really was not paying attention to wether she did or did not.

I thought you didnt have a trainer since your dad died? I don't mean to jump on you but it's a tad suspicious. My friends dad died and I know she doesn't go around telling everyone about it. I just find it a bit odd.

caNdace, got it i was actually starting to like Camdace ;D Its ok rebecca. i should have clarified. i rarley take lessons unlike i used to. I meant lessons with Katie at a lesson barn. I have a lesson about once every two months. i do not have my license so i have no way of getting there until 7:30 when my mother gets home. Only way i can have lessons is if i work there and chores are done there around 6:00 so i would have to be there before then for me to do chores. Plus even if my mother has a day off she will be bale to take me but its wether she can or not. So i am really not in full lessons and i dont count it as lessons. I want to be able to take lessons on Katie even though she is 21 she can still move on what i need her for anyway. Sorry for the confusion . And not to be rude or anything, i am not your friend. Not everyone is the same and not everyone handles situations the same. when i get introduced to people i dont be like "Hi i am Molly and by the way i have a dead twin brother and father." I just thought i would share the story about how he bought me KT and thats why KT is so special to me. i did not just pop out and introduce the fact my dad and brother died. I am really not trying to be rude or anything i just wanted to point out im not your friend whose dad died and everyone handles things differently. I just know keeping it inside is not going to bring my dad and brother back. i'm not looking for sympathy either. So really i dont want that to sound mean so dont take it the wrong way. I'm not that type, no hurt feelings just dont be afraid to ask.

Is there a website to the barn where katie is boarded? What is the name of it?

I dont believe there is a website if there is i dont know about it. I dont think her barn really has a name i just call it "KT's barn". i dont go there often and there isnt signs up or anything saying the name so i dont know much about it. It is just the only place we can keep her which is why she is there. I am going there tomorrow since i get a week off school i'll try to remember to ask if they owners are around.

Do you know any of the other horses names at the barn you board at?

I know Maggie Milly and Neb and of course there is KT. there is more but i dont know there names. im not out there enough. Horses go out to pasture around the time i can get there so i never really see them and know their names.
