does anyone here get their horses hocks injected? were getting norman's done tomarro at 2.30 but i was just wondering if anyone else does. if so like how often do you get this done. and he gets massages twice a month and acupuncture and stuff. does anyone else pamper there horse this much?? i feel like he doesnt need all this butt iidk. if anyone else has any other CHEAPER suggestions let me know :]

I've never needed to do Levi's hocks, so obviously I dont. And he doesnt need a massage, so he doesnt get that, but massages for horses are great! I've seen people do it, and they melt.
Why does he need all the injections and accupuncture? BTW, I love the pic fro the show with you norman and your mom(?)

I t-touch massage DarkStar that's all, i mean unless you count the peppermints, color baths, sock whitening, curry just because she likes it, condition tail, pampering?

I've never had a horse that needed their hocks injected, but know plenty of horses that do. Moby gets a massage whenever the massage lady comes out to the BOs horse, and I've had acupuncture done on past horses..I'm terrified of needles so I really didnt like holding my horse while they were being poked into him...needless to say, he doesnt get acupuncture anymore =DD

Ive always heard not to start hock injections unless it is absolutly necessary because its not something you can just stop. But I dont know anything else about it, sorry but I know chiropractors work wonders, we had a horse who came to our barn and had been trained in an illfitting saddle and would completly suck back if you ran you finger along her spine, it was HORRIBLE and after a few adjustments she was 90% improved and she is now fine 6 months later....

yeah idk hes older around 13 and before the girl i bought him from he was a jumper doing level 5 and 6s so he gets kinda ouchy unless you get them done. but i dont really know the details about them being done. and thankss lindsay i LOVE that picture..besides the fact of my mother

my trainer is huge on getting hocks injected so yea ive deff done it..but its waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy over priced!

joker has got hock injections about two months ago.. for the first time.He sees the ciro every 6 weeks and we are thinking about acupuncture because his back gets soooo sore..
