I've found that people like the antares better, and I'm going to talk to one of the reps at the Hampton Classic (which is when Ill have enough money). I wanna try one out for a week or so and if I like it I'm going to get it. A grain leather one, I wouldnt want the calf leather anyway =) www.antaressaddle.com/products/jumping_medium.html^ I like that oneeee And Kim, chilllllll out.

That's not what she was saying at all, Kim. From what I read, she was generalizing an overall picture. There are plenty of exceptions. And even though age has NOTHING to do with this, I think Rebecca is 14 now?
No need to fight over stating an opinion. She didn't direct a "you suck at riding" statement at you. From what I read, she just generally said that some people can adjust from seat-to-seat easily, and that sometimes the problem is that a rider isn't quite as strong in the seat/leg. But I don't think she directed that specifically at you. Besides, she also stated that a huge factor is the saddle.
My opinion? Even if a rider has a strong seat & legs, everyone adjusts differently. Someone might have an easier time than someone else, and still have strong aids. I agree with what you're both saying.

Mmmk Kim. Shut the fuck up. now.
And Lindsay. I'm pretty sure im getting one at the end of the summer too! ahaha It sucks though. I have to save $1,300 more, and I still have to pay for lessons, shows, vet, etc (everything besides board lol) But I think I'm gonna work at my dads office every morning, and probably catchride a bit. Gahh my trainers horse is awsome. And I've known him since he was a yearling, so it was really cool to see his training progress. He's an awsome horse, and he's missing his two front teeth hehehe
I'm gonna get the dark brown, deep seat, calfskin jumping saddle =]

I'd heard that the calfskin wears easier, and I like the grain leather. I think I only want a medium deep seat, but I'm going to test ride in it. The leather is sick on those saddles. I lovee them,

Yeah the calfskin does wear quicker, but I dont really like grained leather. I've never found it as soft, and I'm not quite ready to shell out $4,400 for buffalo. I'm just looking to get a custom saddle for my horse..most of the the other horses I ride , my saddle wouldnt fit anyway, so I'm not too concerned about the weather wearing.
