Okay, so i disappeared again... I seem to be good at disappearing but i have been so busy with horses...
So an update is needed, because so much has happened.
Meg went back because the loan went awsome but when we asked how much they wanted she cost far to much and plus my mum didn't like her at all... she didn't feel like she could trust her.
So after 2 weeks of loaning Meg is no longer mine, which upset me greatly.
but Debbi found us another horse, my mum told her our budget and she did us a deal.
We found Jimbo, who is amazing.
So we trial him for a week and then bought him, we paid the second half yesterday and i have owned him now for 3 days
i'm sooo happy i finally found a horse and means no more sending horses back and getting new ones etc.
Anyway
Jimbo i better tell you a bit more about him:
He's a bay thoroughbred cross. He's 11 years old and 17hh
He's is a mega sweetie, he so gentle and caring. He has been owned by a lad all his life and was being sold because the lad was now 18 and needed something a bit younger that could take him to the next higher level in eventing. So jimbo has only ever done eventing. He knows loads of dressage and jumps mega nicely.
He's bringing me back so much confidence and helping me tons and i've only been riding him just over 1 week and owned him for 3 days.
Tonight the yard is holding a small show on it's own grounds so we are going to join in.
We are doing:
Clear round jumping
Pairs jumping [with Abie and Smartie, the little grey pony i almsot bought but now belongs to my friend Abie]
Rider Ability
Beginners Jumping
So only small classes, beginners and pairs jumping are only cross poles. clear round Debbi said to have a crack at but i don't think the jumps will be higher then 2'6" at the most. Rider Ability is just judged on how i ride him
So it should be fun, i don't want to enter to many classes or any big jumping classes cause i don't wanna rush anything but it should be okay for a bit of fun and it is held in the arenas that i usually ride him in so it's not like it's a new place or anything.
