so my horse now needs a custom saddle. i was wondering if you guys prefer a custom devoucoux or a custom anatares or if you have any other suggestions. i need help choosing!

Well, neither of these are truely custom. You have a county right? That is the most "custom" of any of those saddles. The antares, devoucoux, cwd, and the liking are more custom to the rider than the horse.
Aside from that, the three i listed are gorgeous saddles, some people have trouble with devoucouxs customer service..so i'd be wary of that. Send them an email, or give them a call and have one of their fitters come out and try the saddles and see what you like and what fits your horse best! Good luck.

Just to let you know.. because you said that you liked the butet better than the antares.. you can get that fit to him.
I'm getting an antares fit to me and levi at the hampton classic.

Another thing to remeber is that any saddle you buy, as long as the tree fits, you can have the foam replaced with wool..that way you're able to do more customizing..
