finally had my lesson

I didn't get to ride Windy, because she is still off.......whatev.....I rode that horse Angel, and I was actually pleasantly suprised. She has come a long long way since i last rode her.....her icky habits are for the most part gone, she still is a little jumpy, but in her defense it was pretty windy outside today....and it is nothing i haven't gone through with Windy.

Anyway....i got to jump, because my trainer said I really hadn't gotten any bad habbits in my hiatus from riding....obviously the jumps were slightly a little lower, but whatev.....ha.

My trainer and some ladies said I didn't look like i hadn't jumped in a year, but i felt wayy off....it took me about 2 courses to get my stride counting "decent" and i kinda let Angel take off about a stride too early a few times. It was hard for me to get used to her gait though because she is more of a hunter whereas Windy has more of a jumper feel, but there at the end i was finally beginning to feel it.

i had some pictures, but.....haha i just got my nails done (acrylics) and i haven't had them in a couple years so i'm not used to them, i accidently pushed the wrong button and i think i deleted all the pictures =[.

i'll see if i can recover them, if not i have another lesson on Thursday, and if my mom or my friend is there i will have time take some.




OHHHHHHH ahh so basicly my trainer offered me a working student job again!! i'm still not gunna do it as hardcore as i did before just because i have some other stuff i am trying to do but i am gunna help out again about 2-3 times a week so yeah....that includes me taking care of everything for Windy to hopefully speed up her recovery (we still don't know what is going on with her =[)

sorry this is kinda long and jumbled up i was trying to type as i thought of things haha.

yeah ever since my trainer got married she has appeared to kinda calm down a bit.....so it is pretty cool again i guess.

yeah....

my lesson last week was terrible!!!

Angel (the horse i am riding till Windy is better) was in season, and the horse the other girl was
Angels stall buddy when they got evacuated in the fire, so they "fell in love" and she was showing off like no other.....she would take off and try to go after him, when she was away from him she would buck, wiggle, prance. Her gait was really not even, so i was totally popping her in the mouth when i tried to jump, finally i just told my trainer i didn't want to jump for the rest of the lesson, because i felt like we were getting nowhere with it, and i didn't want to hurt Angel, so i just did some ground work with her. Don't get me wrong i was able to control her and she wasn't scaring me, but she was so out of her mind that no matter what I did, it seemed like it just made her more on edge, so i just pooped her out on flat work.

gahh it was just a really really bad lesson.

I'm really hoping she is better in this weeks lesson

wow, i hate that! it soo annoying, but theres nothing you can do i guess, atleast you were able to control her!
i agree with you, i hop eyour lesson is better this week!
