i wish you would have told me i just sent my two saddles into usedsaddles.com. i advise you check that website cause they offer trial periods and they wont accept any saddle with broken trees or anything and they thoroughly check the saddles. i just got rid of my county and crosby centennial

usedsaddles.com is great to work with. I bought saddles through them before and they have a very lenient trial period

If you dont want to buy online at usedsaddles (a very trusty website). Definitely go to Hobby Horse, ask for Christine or Kim to help you out. They will both tell you flat out what saddles are worth it, if they have good resale value, how the hold up, and how the saddle fits you. They will probably have a trail period too. I sold 3 saddles through them, so I'd definitely stop by there.

Paris Tack = <3 it's gorgeous, mega comfy and cheapish... well not down here it isn't... it's actually quite expensive over here!! I usually ride Cracker in Paris tack and it's nice!!! Most new saddles now-a-days is nice!! I am always going round our barn and seeing what saddles people have, and theres a load of nice brands around... being at a jumping yard as well... and also working at a yard where the Whitaker keep there horses!! So just look around and see what you can find Whitaker tack is cheap and that is nice!

Do you know what size seat you are? The saddle you posted is a 16", that's awful tiny! I'm 5'4'' 110 lbs and ride in a 16.5" or 17". I've never heard of an avalon, but for the price they're asking for it you could probably find a used beval. I'll post the names of a few good used saddle sites.

Wow, my last post came out sort of as a diss. I just meant that 16" is generally considered a childrens saddle. Many off the rack companies don't even make a 16" saddle
