So I was thinking, whats the one thing everyone just cant stand and has no patience for in a horse. I was talking to my new YO and he said he cant stand a horse who wont go into a trailer, we got to talking about this cos Puzzle wouldnt load lol ;D. My pet hate, the thing I cannot stand is a horse that is difficult to catch, I mean I understand if they are genuinely frightened of humans but its the horses who you can catch one day and then the next your walking about a field for an hour or so they drive me mad, I could not own a horse like that. Yer so whats everyone elses pet hate??

I cannot stand pawers..omg I have gotten rid of about 8 horses who used to paw omg I CANNOT stand it...they stopped though, few days with me lol, also disrespect..when were walking your not playing, i stop u stop nose at my shoulder, I back up, you back up..lol taught lots of horses that too...

i get frustrated with horses that can't be caught, same as lara.

Not much frustrates me but i hate it when a horse wont load because if you are trying to get somehwere on time and the horse wont load you get stressed then the horseis even more determined then ever not to load and it just goes on and on...

Nothing really frustrates me....i get kinda frustrated when Gabby does her Bauking but not enough to piss me off lol.
she will just like randomly stop out of KNOWHERE and its annoying but yeah...
Im okay with anything really a horse does lol. they all have their quirks.

I can't stand horses who will bite or threaten you in some way. Also horses that don't want to be caught and bite.
Where I used to work, most of the horses had little respect for people when being led. There was one inpaticular who I thought I would like the most at first. But then he started snaping at me when I walked by.
One day he got loose (cause the horses always did) and he looked like he wanted to kick me when I got close. So i went for help and the girl said he would kick me if he got the chance.
One day the girl who rode him, asked me for help catching him. It wasnt my job to help her, but I said yes to be nice.
He kept turning his ass at me everytime I tried to keep his front facing my front. It wasnt working so I stood back for a minute, and out of no where he turns and rears at me with his teeth out. He hit my arm with his teeth and knocked me over. Then I yelled at him as a reaction and the girl was like oh... try this, and handed me the treats she had.. gee thanks for giving them to me before.. and he was caught just like that.
This is beside the point but she didn't even ask me if I was ok, no one ever cared about you there... even if you had a horse trying to run from you while you were leading it, they wouldn't do anything.
sorry for the story but I couldn't understand why no one who had the time to spend on him wouldn't do something about it.. or tell new staff about him.
When my friend started work there I told her and she didn't believe me until he bit the other girl she was working with.

i hate when horses dont stand still when you mount, horses at the trail barn used to do that to me all the time and it made me soo mad cause no one cared..and horses that walk soo close to you when your leading them that they pretty much step on your toes..it drives me crazyy!

I can't stand when horses wont go forward. If they're scared of something, i'd rather them jump or take off rather than back away. Ever since my horse almost backed us off a cliff....

horses that grind their teeth.....ahhh i just get the chills thinking about it. when Windy gets antsy [specifically in the crossties] she will do it and seriously i just like loose all streingth haha it is weird like i'll drop whatever i'm holding becuase i cringe so bad haaa ewww
cribbers and poor ground manners also bother me, but i can tolerate it.

^Nikita grinds ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the fucking time. Anytime a horse comes near her...or there is one in the arena with us! horse shows are the WORST she grinds at every fucking horse that comes within 4 ft of her lol

I hate when...
Horses try to eat when youre riding
When they rear in their stalls becuase their impatient
When they refuse to go into/back out of a trailer
Horses that are hard ot catch
Horses that are scared of everything

A horse that trys to walk on top of you!!! They should walk behind you!!
My one horse kicks in the stall i fucking hate it i hobble her ass every chance i get lol

same as lauren i HATE when the horse doesnt have respect for you and they just walk all over you ... or well think they can i wouldd neeeever allow it with colby thankfully he wouldnt even try that thats just not him but i mean i see people with their horses or if im handling someone elses horse and they just try to walk all over you and just have no respect.
