Okay so while I was feeding and cleaning stalls tonight I decided to jump on Dunny bareback. Let's just say it wasn't the brightest idea. I sware this horse is not 22 he acts like he's 3! I get on and he's rearing and won't leave the barn so I jump off to lead him down to the house to get on and ride back up to the barn just so he doesnt get away with being an a$$hole. I jump on and he takes off while im still on the side of him, i get my balance and hes headed straight for a tree! Apparently the bit did absolutely NOTHING, cause he wouldnt stop, theres like our horse trailer then a little space then a BIG rock and then a tire and then a tree haha. So I tried to stop didnt work then he LEAPS over a that HUGE rock and im like oh sheizabeans! haha. So he wont stop running so im like i guess ill just let him run he'll stop at the barn. Well bad idea because halfway there he throws his head in between his legs still running and starts bucking im like hanging on for dear life trying to pull his head up keeping mind im bareback! I had gloves on couldn't get a grip but I managed to stay on and he's still running and bucking to the barn and then BAM he stops dead and I fall off. haha just unexpected I guess  but I sware my horse is not 22! |

haha omg all this bareback! well done staying on for the most part! haha I guess hes just happy to get ridden.
oh and I like ur sig! would that be cool if they had trippy barrels like that!

yah all of it was bareback and idk i guess he was just feeling good last night cause the day before I rode him english and jumped some crosspoles and he was fine then i jump on and almost DIE i was seriously like holding on for dear life laughing haha yah i don't fall off a lot i have a really good seat it's real hard for a horse to get me off  yah i wish places had siiiiiiccckkk barrels like that! |

It's good you hung on for so long and didn't go flying into a tree or something. He sounds like he's in good shape. I know some old spunky horses.

aha I haven't ridden him in 2 years except maybe 10 times haha
he's just like idk his way of telling me he's done with being retired haha

His papers say he's a quarter horse but i secretly think he is a 10 year old warmblood! He's only 15.2 but he's thick thick thick! When I ride him it feels like i'm riding a barrel and he picked up a bunch of bad habbits on his 2 years off like grabbing the bit at the third barrel and running all the way to the fence >  |
