I was at the barn on saturday cleaning stalls and getting ready for Shabby to come home. I look in Zippers stall and she was like grumpy all day and when I looked in she was laying down I was like OH SHIT! My first thought was she's having her baby!!!...
Then she tried to roll so I was like oh no I have to get her up! So I got her up started walking her let me tell you it is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of a vet on easter weekend. So im trying to keep her up and call every vet around! It was so hard to keep her up I was like dying. The good thing was she was pooping eating and drinking. That's why I was like how could she be colicing it was really unusual! So finally I have to call Ohio State and "talk" to the vet, because I would drive to my vets house and get him before I went all the way to Ohio State I just like needed to know if she needed the shot or not and how much to give her. Well she didn't anwser my question probably my fault I was having trouble explaining while trying to keep Zipper up! We finally got ahold of a vet near us and they said they had 4 OTHER EMERGENCIES! before us and she wouldn't be there for at least 4 hours. So I walked Zipper around for like 2 hours in the snow storm! I was soaked and cold because I only had a hoodie on it was nice then it just got real cold and started snowing really hard. After walking her for that long she was fine. I was so worried about her baby though!
