Has anyone seen it? I went last night with my best friend, her mom, and sister. It was SO good. The middle got a little acid-trippy, but I thought the movie was awesome. And Jim Sturgess (the guy who played Jude) is GORGEOUS. haha. I found a new love

It got a little acidic (lol) in the middle, but everyone would be lying to themselves if they said that the 60s weren't an acid trip. And the effects they used were really cool. Overall I thought the movie was great. It's a musical, so it's allowed to be a little "out there." It's worth it to have a Beatles sing-a-long and stare at Jim

yeahhh soooo i LOVEDDDD that movie!!! the funny thing is i HATE the Beatles pretty much............but GAHHHHH that was a super good movie! i need it when it is released on DVD. I liked it though cause I really like the 60s/hippie stuff (obviously one would know that by my sigg) and Bono's version of I Am The Walrus is my ringtone, and currently on my myspace for your listening pleasure =] edit: to put it in perspective for those who don't like musicals.......neither do I, but gahh that was one amazing movie.....probably right up there as one of my favorites now. ohh but the circus scene with Eddie Izzard sining Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite kinda freaked me out though............ewww i don't like that real Beatle-ish stuff.............you know like from their movies and stuff........freaks me out a tad.......... here's what i am talking about: youtube.com/watch?v=P35WWj0DSKY

yeah i know weird it seems like something i would totally like to, i love classic rock and stuff like that but the Beatles..........never been into them............i just think they are highly overrated, and i honestly don't think they were that tallented (vocally)..............i actually decently liked their songs when they weren't the ones performing them...........
plus in recent time i think that a bunch of people claim to like them just because everyone else does (i'm not saying that is anyone here) so yeah..........
blahhh i could go on about this for a while........haha
edit: i am also annoyed with people telling me that i don't know music because i don't like them..........and that they founded modern rock.........they weren't the only ones that did.............
haha wow i didn't realize what a touchy subject that was with me, maybe because i really DO know music (and other things one associates with the beatles ) without liking them...........
and nobody on here provoked my tangent, just my personal opinion haha.

Wow. I was mostly joking... lol. You don't have to like the Beatles... They did play a HUGE part in transforming music, but they're not the only band to contribute. I do agree how some people say they love them just to be cliche, but most people who say they like them really do. Im a huge oldies fan, and The Beatles are one of my favorites.... but you don't have to like them. I was kidding (mostly).

Im pretty sure all the songs are Beatles songs. There were some I didn't recognize, but I think all of them are their songs. And I LOVE "Hey Jude" too. I kept waiting for it to happen, and when it finally did, it was perfect. lol.
