Free Rice anyone?

has anyone heard of www.freerice.com?

When you go to it there is a word and 4 choices beneath it; you have to choose which answer best defines the word. For every word you get right they donate 20 grains of rice to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). When you play the game, advertisements appear on the bottom of your screen. The money generated by these advertisements is then used to buy the rice. So by playing, you generate the money that pays for the rice donated to hungry people.
There are different levels of difficulty so everyone can help donate rice, whether they're in college or elementary school.

its a really good way to increase your vocabulary (I now know that a gnu is a wildebeest!) and help end world hunger. =]

i've gotten better by picking out the main part of the word and associating it with a word I know.. which will probably help me in the english portion of the ACT. woo.

i really love this thing. my friend has donated 3 million grains as of today....she never shuts down the website though so her count keepsgoing and going. i have been playing for the last 30 minutes or so and have raised 4080 grains.....not the greatest i have ever done, but whatevssss

Oh we did that is school it was funny, i think we managed to loose loads of the rice because the pc crashed.
