shes very down hill and has a yucky hind end. Her angles don't really match up...she's cute though

I think part of the downhillness might be the ground she was standing on...not sure though but the land there where she was standing if memory serves was angled. Muscle might make her hind end better. Like I said, she just hasn't been worked with a lot, but you have good points guys! I'm not showing at all. In a few years I might, just MIGHT do a minor schooling show for fun but I'm 100% trail rider.

She's cute! The ground is slanted look at her back feet and her front feet her back feet are much higher. She still might be a little bit downhill, but that doesn't hurt anything.

i agree, cause in the first pic she looks really downhill but in the others she doesnt. there is nothing wrong with being a little downhill though!

being downhil is a conformation fault and will effect things, but i was mistaken in not looking at the ground before jumping to the downhill conclusion. Regardless, i still feel as if her hind end is slightly out of wack.

Its hard to judge from pictures. She may be, although I didn't immediately notice she was downhill in person.
I'm supposed to go ride a Welsh mix next Thursday...TWO welshes actually. Same day...I guess I'll see how it goes with them. I'll bring back pics!

being built downhill only will affect a sporthorse ie, a dressage or showjumper at a higher level, otherwise being built downhill is great if you are a racehorse or trial horse as it allows them to cover more ground. So I think in this case being built downhill (is she is) would actually be a positive rather than a negative.
