Apil 19th was the last series show and the awards banquet after. My and Gypsy won the youth 1-D buckle(by 14 points), Novice horse buckle and came in second for the open 1-D. Behind Laura Lee Thomas.. if anyones heard of her. I was sooo happy with the pony, in her first year running she won me my first buckleessss! ;D
Andd.. remember that horse Brandy i was thinking about getting a while ago? I did it, bought her.. she was so bad she had gate issues, they would literally TIE her head to her chest with a rope thinking it would make it so she wouldnt go off pattern. Well shes doing amazing, ive been working her in a snaffle and martingale, I actually got top 5 in the youth 1-D for the series with her only getting points at 3 shows instead of 6. She won her first barrel class and is running really good now. Me and a friend are going to the ALL American Youth Barrel show in Jackson, MS in June!! and im running brandy i cant wait!

My blanket for 2nd in Open its so soft! Ha i could have got a halter but i have a ton of those
Brandy Before, My first show with her ever, you can see it wasnt the prettiest, but we got in the arena! time 15.5(bottom of 1-D youth)
A couple months later, her first rodeo experience ever, she ran 16.7 a 16.0 won it and you see how much time we lost around the 2nd barrel, but she went in the arena and ran good considering how she was before. I had pretty much everyone really watching this run, because they kept telling me there was no sense buying her shes "ugly as shit and runs worse" haha i was pretty happy with her
I dont have videos of the last show but in the same arena as the first we ran a 14.0 in exhibition just cruizing and a slip at 3rd. In the youth we ran a 14.9 haha dont know what happened. We won the class before with a 14.7 and much room to improve lol I have vids of me just working brandy ill post when there uploaded
