Update... YEAH, so I basically, I bought her. I was going to go back again, but the guy said they were leaving Saturday for vacation, and they said they couldn't promise she wouldn't be sold. And I just felt a connection with her. I'd have killed myself to risk her getting away, so I said I'd take her! ;D Paid in full in cash...she is MINE! ;D ;D A lady e-mailed me today and told me about this girl she has for sale. That is Zoey...she's a 4 y/o 14hh Paint mare. I haven't seen her yet, so I can't just assume everything is true that the person says, BUT if they're honest, she is green but not foolish and walks, trots, canters without any issues. What do you think?

i think she's cute a little bum high, unless the ground is uneven. but she has a pretty good shoulder and hip. her neck ties in a little low on top, but her throatlatch is nice and clean and not too thick. overall, theres nothing seriously bad with her. she looks like she would be good for what you want to do she's very westerny, though.

shes gorgeous but why are you getting a green horse when you are green yourself?
Green horses are HARD WORK. I've been riding most of my life and its hard for ME to work with the very green 3 y/o we saved from slaughter.

Who said I was a green rider? I realize what I am taking on. I've worked with green horses before, and I DID have Belle, but Belle wasn't just green, I think Belle had issues deeper than that. And she WAS too much to handle. And I do realize I'm not a world class trainer here, and I might have something I will need help with, which is where Jackie's help will come in. She has experience with training, and she has already said she wants to start training horses again. Perhaps I didn't mean "connection" as much as I mean I had a good feeling about her. You can agree or disagree, I just believe in that type thing. I certainly didn't mean I would buy her sight unseen just because of that! And you will notice I said update, the bottom part was part of the origenal post.

We know you're a green rider because we've seen your videos and pictures. I am not a green rider. I'm an equitation QUEEN. But green horses are chalanging for ME. and my mom who has had years of experience. i just dont think youre ready for the work. You need a nice, older trail horse.
