A few weeks ago they got 2 more new horses! I don't know how new Judy and Johnny were, because we wern't there when they first came, but they were new to us hhaa. They are also getting a new minature pony for pony rides, so then they'll have 2. The first week they got these 2 horses (star and charlie) we couldn't ride them because the owner didn't have time to watch us, but this weekend we got to ride them on saturday for a half hour or so, and then on sunday we got to ride them in the areana again for another half hour before the trail ride came. I rode Star both days and Sandra rode Charlie both days. Charlie was a bit energetic at first but he settled down and Star was a bit lazy. She responds very well to leg but doesn't neck rein which is fine by me haha. She's wonderful to ride. On sunday after we rode in the areana we got to take them on the back of the trail ride. They were both really good! Star is a a bit of a drama queen and doesn't like water, which I noticed in the arean because there was one spot that was a bit wet. So she hesitated going through some huge puddles, on the trail, but she went through with no problems in the end. They both need more mussel and weight, but it won't take long to get that built up. CHARLIE STAR I'm not sure what breed charlie is, but I know Star is a standardbred like Doc. They look a lot alike except for their weight haha, and I'm so glad to be riding again!
