So like i said before in the other post, i have done a lot with Millie since i was on here last, i go to comps quiet frequently. I ride her loads and i am having proper lessons with a fab teacher who is helping me improve so much. I am also riding other horses for other people when they go away or for sinple riding.
I ride a horse called Mulciber who i do not have a video of but still love to bits, he is an ex-racer who is dark bay stands at 16.1Hh is 22yrs and is fab.
Another one is Jasper, who is a 10yr old, cob type dark bay and he is quiet green due to the lack of work when born and through his years untill he was abut 5. He is amazing and i ride him loads, he is coming on loads and i love him to bits, i have a video of a pony club event i took him too where he was in a situation that he has never been in before so had a completly new experience.
I am also riding Millie obviously and i think i have come on to be honest with you. I do so much with her and we are constantly improving together. I have a few vids you may watch and please, critique what you want, i will take it all in and try to improve on it.
Please reply with your views.

You have improved IMMENSELY! The only big things things I see is try to keep your elbows in over fences..mainly in the xcountry video, as well as sinking into your heels so you can more easily stay with her over fences. Great job, and it seems like you've really found a trainer that works for you!

k in ur x country vids ur reins are crazy long, causing your elbows to be all over the place, u lose balance, and millie doesnt get a great jump....if u tighten the reins and release (u have practically no release in the vids) not only does YOUR position and overall control improve but millie's form and abilitly improve...right now w/long riens, when she jumps u get thrown back, therefore grabbing the reins waaaay back there...end the end this pulls on her mouth which just throws her jump and movement off
thats the biggest issue i saw

Thanks Rebecca, i really have found someone who i get on with and who has helped me so much. Yeah, when i look back at the video i do see that i have done that a lot a lot, throwing my elbows out. I have tried to work on it since that day when i saw the vids.
And Hannah, i see what you mean, i lost a lot of balance that day due to it. However, if i can get a vid of me know you will see i have improved a bit alread as in i have my reins very short.
I think a reason for the long reins and the hesitation is because i lost my nerve a while back, i don't know if i was on here or not and may have told you but i had a riding accident with jumping so became very nervous when jumping anything, show jumps or xcountry fences. I have just over the last few weeks been doing shows to try and get my confidence back. I was talking to my mum the other day about it in one of the last comps i did and i came first because i took her round in canter, with short short reins and impulsion. I don't know if she recorded it, if she did i will try to show you adn see if you think i have improved.
Thanks for the comments guys will try to work on them,

having a scare is somethin we all go through at some point..no worries there girl!!! just know that unless u get on n use proper position and techniques like what i said, chances are actually MORE likely youll have another accident! so believe in yourself!

Thanks Hannah, i tried it the other day when i was juming and it was great i had balace, i kept my elbows in and we had no stops or refusals. It was great but sadly my mum didnt have the cam so it wasnt ecorded.
Thanks Candace he is great but sadly i will not be able to ride him that much anymore due to his shaer taking over so much more of the work meaning i havnt ridden him for nearly 1 wek and a half. =s
